THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF CHEMICAL ELEMENTS
WHICH EXHIBIT FERROMAGNETIC PROPERTIES
|
A.А. KOLESNIKOV
E.A. KOLESNIKOVA
The article includes alternative layout of the periodic table. Proposed variant of the periodic table enables detection of the total amount of chemical elements which can exhibit ferromagnetic properties. Authors imbedded lanthanides and actinium series direct into the periodic table. For this goal the 8th period was extended with f-elements ‘seveniads’ in addition to d-elements triads. Authors have analyzed the layout of the periodic table with embedded f-elements and have received conclusion that only ten chemical elements can exhibit ferromagnetic properties - three d-elements and seven f-elements of the first triad and seveniad correspondingly Proposed variant of the Periodic table fulfill standard condition that maximum valence of the element matches group number in which the element is located.
Key words: periodic table, triad, seveniad, ferromagnetism.
