PLASMA VIBRATOR ANTENNA EXITED BY OWN RADIATION OF THE TRANSMITTER

The conditions of creating and supporting of gas discharge in the discharge tube of plasma antennae’s under the inductive or capacity coupling of transmitter with antenna are considered. The analysis of excitation of plasma surface wave by the radiation of transmitter is made. It is shown that for excitation of plasma surface wave the preliminary gas ionization by the volumetric wave is necessary. And in the low-pressure gas, when the collision frequency is over of the transmitter frequency surface wave develops at lower plasma density than the dense gas, when the collision frequency is higher than the frequency of the transmitter. If the plasma frequency reaches a value less than the collision frequency, surface wave can not develop at all.
