Advantages of the normal conductivity bwlap in comparison with the superconducting linacs (back word wave accelerators) |

Provides research materials, in order to create ADS – accelerator driven nuclear facility for industrial purpose, on the subject of BWLAP (Backward-Wave Linear Accelerator of Particles) applied to the problem of developing a compact proton accelerator on the high-performance linear accelerating structures of the "room temperature" with a clearly marked backward spacial harmonic of the high-frequency electromagnetic field propagating against the flow of the accelerated particles. It proves the BWLAP (with water cooled accelerator structures) advantage over superconducting accelerators in general efficiency (Pbeam / PAC) at analogous energy of protons. Application of BWLAP appropriate in the complexes with sub-critical nuclear reactors to produce nuclear energy, for transmutation the radioactive waste (RW) and blowing minor actinides. The BWLAP can provide as the regime with a low duty cycle and continuous operation.
