NONLINEAR PROBLEM OF THE TEMPERATURE FIELD TURBULENT GAS FLOW IN THE WELL |

Analytical expressions for the temperature field of the ascending turbulent gas flow in the borehole are found, taking into account the dependences of density, velocity, and thermal conductivity on the spatial coordinates in the zero and first asymptotic approximations. In the corresponding equation of convective heat conductivity, which appears in the conjugation
problem for the temperature fi eld, there arise three variable coeffi cients, the presence of which required the development of an «average exact» asymptotic method. The expressions for the temperature asymptotically averaged over the cross section of the borehole, as well as for its radial profi le, are determined. It is shown that the averaged values of the temperature of the gas fl ow do not depend on the radial distributions of velocity and thermal conductivity, i.e. the formulas for turbulent, laminar fl ows and the model case of the aligned velocity profile coincide, even with allowance for the dependence of density on depth. The calculations of the space-time temperature dependencies in the well are performed. Constructed graphical dependencies allow to judge changes in temperature in the wellbore from axial and radial coordinates and time, which is the basis for interpretation of thermograms of gas wells.
