Kussebayev U.K. In this article considered the types of insulators for air lines electricity transmission and their peculiarity. Outlined the basic problems and their causes, submitted proposals to ensure reliable operation air lines electricity transmission. The new geometrical way of increase of a self-cleaning of a surface of suspended porcelain and glass insulators, garlands, namely dish-shaped insulator and polymeric rod insulator with a unique surface is developed (in the form of transcendental curve cycloid) which is quickly washed away under the influence of a wind and a rain, stability and durability of operation of insulators that promotes reliable transportation of electric field as a result improve.
