Engineering Physics Annotation << Back Low energy nuclear reactions observed electrolysis With cathode from palladium in heavy water Bergman A.A. In this paper the unusual experimental results which were discovered during electrolysis in heavy water with palladium cathode are analyzed. Such experiments are: M. Fleishman and C. Pons experiments, where they observed neutron radiation and H 3 and He emanation; M. Stempinski experiments (in Poland) with proportional BF3 counter which show neutron and unusual particle irradiation; the experiments carried out by A.G. Lipson – leadership in Japanese with Japanese researcher assistants. During electrolysis there was irradiation by thermal neutrons which increase deuterium introduction in riveting cathode. And neutron capture increased in 7,5 time compared with usual cathode. These unusual results were produced by delocalization phenomenon in consequence of wrong crystal structure which changes during process of deuterium introduction.
